David Linthicum and Jim Yu On ‘Cloud Computing’
We were honored this week to be interviewed byDavid Linthicum – the industry expert for cloud computing, SOA, and Web 2.0 – for his Cloud Computing Podcast ( iTunes link ) . Our CEO Jim Yu spoke with David about how BrightEdge’s cloud-based platform helps marketers grow their business.
David and Jim discussed the accelerating movement towards open integration for marketing systems already ‘in the cloud’ and the growing centrality of SEO to the marketing mix. As David put it, “If you don’t have a handle on this, you don’t have a handle on your business.” We agree!
David and Jim also talked about a couple of BrightEdge’s use cases, including an e-commerce vendor driving revenue from organic search across a multitude of categories and a large technology company that grew its organic traffic by over 40% thanks to BrightEdge’s recommendations system.
