The results are outstanding, as you can see from our  customer success stories . Not ones to rest on our laurels, the BrightEdge Summer Release, named so for obvious reasons, takes our customers’ success to a whole new level. It features proven best practices and intuitive help content embedded right within the platform.  In this post, we will turn the spotlight on two highlights of this release – the Personalized Success Kit and Smart Help.

Personalized Success Kit

Our customers want every user to make the most of BrightEdge right from the moment they get access to the platform.  This release we are proud to launch  the Personalized Success Kit, an automatically generated list of activities specifically designed to onboard new users faster and drive their productivity from Day 1.

The Success Kit leans on best practices that make our  6000+ brand customers win in search and social. The Success Kit is not a one-size-fits-all set of best practices. You have the option to customize the Success Kit in line with the new users’ role, goals, permissions and level of expertise.

You can’t control what you don’t measure and that applies to gauging the progress of your new users. With the Personalized Success Kit, each task will have a due date to help pace and report on onboarding progress while allowing the users to update the status of tasks as they are completed.

Smart Help

We enhanced our already intuitive Help section with the intelligence and user experience to allow you to find the right information, at the right time, in the right format. We invested in helping you spend less time searching for information and more time analyzing, acting, reaping the rewards of your success and, of course, celebrating!

While great thought and attention to detail has gone into enhancing the entire Help section, here are a few of the greatest hits.

Contextual Help

The enhanced BrightEdge Help section now features contextual help. When a user clicks the Help link from any feature screen in the platform, the Help displays a topic related to the feature.

Intuitive Organization & Navigation

We took a lot of care to classify all the information you will will use into logical categories and sub-categories. Select categories include ‘New Features’, ‘Feature Guide’ and ‘Customer Success’. You can drill down into each category to your heart’s content by simply collapsing/expanding each category.

We also incorporated proven user experience best practices to lay out the information and navigation in a way that makes it extremely easy to find what you need right away.

Rich Archive of Training Videos & Recorded Webinars

Everyone loves video and our customers are no exception. We dedicated tons of resources to create help content in video, so our customers can easily digest organic search best practices and BrightEdge platform usage in a format they love. This release we make the treasure trove of video content i.e. training video webinars and new release overview videos accessible in the Help section.
